💼 What You'll Own
As our Technical Animator, you'll bridge art and engineering for:
- Competitive multiplayer with client prediction and reconciliation
- Advanced weapon trace mechanics and reload systems
- Dynamic bipedal/quadrupedal movement on complex terrain
- Vehicle rigs integrated with physics-based gameplay
- Persistent player customization and reputation tracking
🎯 Core Responsibilities
- Design, create, test, and maintain character/weapon/vehicle rigs
- Animate characters, weapons, and vehicles for in-game scenarios
- Create motion and deformation systems
- Develop pipeline tools to streamline production
- Implement rigging tools for rapid prototyping
- Collaborate across all departments
- Implement feedback from Lead and Art Director
- Manage timelines and tasks
✅ Requirements
- 3+ years as animator/technical rigger
- Minimum 1 AAA shipped title
- Expert skills in Maya
- Strong understanding of Unreal 5 rigging systems and pipelines
- Experience creating AAA character architecture and rigs
- Complex character and vehicle rigging experience in Maya and Unreal
- Strong understanding of facial and figure anatomy
- Absolute passion for playing and making video games
- Self-motivated and self-directed approach
